About The Event

A guided walk of Silsden's Hawbercote fields by leading naturalist and author, Mark Cocker. Mark will take the group along  footpaths in these local fields, under threat from building applications or already in Bradford Council's current development plan, to describe the natural landscape, wildlife and fauna. This will highlight what the impacts of new building could be. The meeting and end points for the walk is Silsden Town Hall. People returning to the Town Hall after the walk will be given light refreshments.  You can read more about Mark Cocker at his website www.markcocker.com

After the walk there will be a separate event at the Town Hall, where Mark will give a more general talk about nature. Tickets are available separately for that event.
