DAY OF DECISION
IS HERE
And your countryside needs you!
It’s been revealed: the application by Persimmon Housing to build upon our much-loved Brown Bank/Hawber Cote fields will come before Bradford councillors on
Thursday October 26th
10am at Bradford City Hall
The meeting is open to the public. Will YOU be there to demonstrate Silsden’s strength of feeling about the proposed loss of biodiversity and community access to these historic green spaces?
Please join your Campaign for the Countryside representatives and local councillors for a prompt start at 10am (the Persimmon plan is first item on the agenda) to make it clear that the plan for hundreds of executive homes on this site is unsustainable and will change Silsden forever.
*We are not expecting supporters to make speeches, but your presence in the public gallery will give considerable weight to our fight to save this remarkable stretch of countryside. Anyone requiring a lift can contact info@silsdencountryside.org.
